Canine guest at Yountville's Lavender inn

If you like to include your best four-footed friend in your breakaways, The Four Sisters Inns are offering a nice deal for travelers with canine companions.

You don’t have to settle for a stark motel that accepts pets. The Four Sisters, which has some of the nicest and most reasonably priced inns on the North Coast, offers special dog-friendly rooms for canine travelers. This is good to know if you’re thinking of getting away for some holiday shopping or need a place to put up guests arriving with pets.

Included in the special are The Blackbird Inn in downtown Napa, The Inn at Sonoma tucked off Broadway, the Healdsburg Inn  overlooking  The Plaza and Lavender in Yountville.

Through April 30, dogs can stay in the same room as their human companions for just $32.50, half the regular $65 rate. The half-price fee is good for every night of a stay, and includes special treats for Fido.

Be sure to disclose your canine guest at booking to secure a dog-friendly room since there are a limited number of rooms for pets at each inn.  You’ll need to bring proof that your pet is current on shots and is licensed.
